Automate user data management
Staying GDPR-compliant without the right tools is a headache. The Delete/Suspend User plugin automates the process to help you meet your obligations without stress.
Match your policies
Create custom rules to define when and how users are handled. Name each rule, choose whether to delete, anonymize, or suspend, and set the conditions to trigger the action.
Filter rules and users
Find the right rules and users faster with a quick filter feature. Sort by deletion or suspension status, or narrow your users down by role in seconds.
Notify the right people
Keep everyone in the loop. Send an automatic email to users or supervisors whenever a rule is applied.
Keep a clear record
Even if you manage hundreds of employees, view all your rules in one place to see users who were deleted, suspended, or had any rule applied.
1
Open settings
Go to Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > Delete Suspend User. This opens the main window, where you’ll see all your existing rules and the total number of rules created.
2
Create a new rule
Click “Add rule” and give it a clear name. This is the name you’ll see in the rule overview, so make it easy to recognize.
3
Set your conditions and timing
Choose the profile field that determines deletion or suspension. Suspension prevents users from logging in, but keeps their data for a set amount of time. Then decide when the action runs, immediately or after a set period. Set the exact amount of time that must pass before the rule acts on a user.
4
Set up email notifications
Configure an automatic email to a user’s supervisor or another recipient, so the right people are informed whenever the rule is applied.
5
Monitor rules and review the record
Back on the main dashboard, view and filter all your rules to keep things clear. Check the Deleted and Suspended Users section to see who was affected, which rule applied, what action was taken, and when it was completed.
