How the DocSign Plugin works

Add DocSign as a course activity
Inside the course, where learners need to sign, add DocSign as an activity. Give it a name and a description so learners know what they’re acknowledging.

Add your text or document
Add the policy, agreement, or other document your learners need to sign. You can write it yourself as text or upload a file.

Choose the signing action
Decide what happens with the document: sign it, add a watermark, or both. If you add a watermark, you can customize how it looks and what it says.

Set up the buttons and signing method
Edit the approve button text, choose whether to show a reject button (and edit its text if you do), and pick whether learners sign through a pop-up or with standard buttons.

Set display and redirect options
Choose whether the document is downloaded or opened in the browser, then set where learners are redirected after signing: the activity page, the course page, or a specific activity.

Configure archive settings
Turn on archiving to keep signed documents on record. This works well with course completion settings and gives you a clear signing history.

Learners read and sign
Every learner enrolled in the course completes the activity by reviewing the document and clicking to approve or reject, where that option is enabled. Their acknowledgment is captured and recorded.
